Baslow Jubilee Community Orchard
Welcome
Welcome to the website of the Baslow Community Orchard Group. We have established an orchard for the benefit of all residents of Baslow, and for the enjoyment of visitors. The orchard is mostly of traditional varieties of apples and is located along Over Lane and in a sheltered area accessible from Over Lane and adjacent streets.
Since the Orchard was established over thirteen years ago it has become a well established part of the Baslow Community. We welcome many visitors including those from local schools who can enjoy the reading circle.
Apple Day is an important event in our calendar and we have just held our 2025 Apple Day.
Apple Day 2026
The provisional date for Apple Day 2026 is Saturday 10th October. We are checking to ensure that we are not conflicting with any other events in the locality and will confirm as soon as possible.

Picnic Table and Seating
The picnic table and seating area continues to enjoyed by many. It is a wonderful area just to sit quietly and enjoy the Orchard and the views. Why not bring lunch or a drink…..though please take your rubbish home.
Orchard Maintenance
Keeping the Orchard looking as good as it does takes work from a dedicated group of volunteers.
The Orchard looked at its best for Apple Day. With the leaves dropping there is still maintenance to be carried out to ensure that we shall have the orchard looking its best in 2026.
We run regular work parties where you are very welcome to join us and learn about the care and pruning of fruit trees.
